As I was searching the internet for teachers that use blogs in thier classrooms, I came across Ms. Schwichtenberg's first grade class. This teacher is using blogs in her classroom to help her first graders to learn how to read and write. Her students have blogger buddies, which are students from a local university there in colorodo, that are helping the students learn about capitol letters, puntuatation, and propper spacing. And in return the first grade students are very entusiastic about showing their buddies what they have learned, and their blogs are proof that this is working because every time they make a post they improve. Mr. Zani's class was the second class that i came across as i was searhing for blogs in the classroom, his class is also a first grade class. His classroom's blog is used more for keeping parents, teachers, and students connected with each other, but that is not all, they also spend alot of time connecting with other students through blogging, they are able to learn what it is like in other parts of the world.
